This series of black and white photographs by Jakob Jakobsson is a unique insider view of the world of construction showing the monumental proportions of major civil engineering projects echoed in the grand volcanic landscapes of Iceland and the Scottish Highlands which he contrasts against the everyday human effort of construction workers. Jakob Jakobsson continually emphasises a distinctly human angle.
The exhibition is part of the Festival of Architecture 2016.
