Bridging the Gap is a photographic exhibition created by blind photographer, Rosita McKenzie. It celebrates the City of Edinburgh's extensive bridge network and how even a lowly foot bridge is integral to everyday life. The photographs capture a unique sense of time and environment from the mystery of a tranquil river scene to the harshness of an industrial setting. McKenzie"s vivid images are supported by sound and a projected film created by Eugene MacDonald and black and white raised prints created by Criss Rodan. The exhibition has been especially timed to coincide with the opening of the New Queensferry Crossing.
