Bringing together two recent Edinburgh graduates, this show documents the seascape of the River Forth and the landscape of the Isle of Barra.
Fisherfolk of the Firth was inspired by Hill and Adamson's Fishermen and Women of the Firth of Forth. It is a contemporary take on the seminal body of work and aims to depict the nature of this often challenging environment.
Barra Beyond the Blue is an ongoing project that documents life on a rural Hebridean island of Scotland. It is an exploration of the remote, and often barren, landscape. It takes an intimate look into the homes of the islanders, and the ways of the incomers.
