Caroline Douglas is a Special Collections Visiting Scholar for summer 2017. Caroline is an artist and lecturer in photography. During her scholarship at St Andrews, she will work with the Special Collections at the library to explore the role of women in the early history of photography in Scotland. In October, she will begin a practice-based PhD at the Royal College of Art on this subject.
Come to the Napier Reading Room in Martyrs Kirk on September 7th to hear Caroline share her findings and to see selected items from the collections. The event is free and everyone is welcome!
