In Spring 2012 photographer Lynn Robinson was commissioned to create a photographic mural in partnership with the underpass users and local people. The mural reproduces over a 1000 photos provided by the local community printed on aluminium panels stretching through the underpass, some of which were taken by Inverness-based salon photographer Andrew Paterson. The mural starts with domestic scenes and workplaces at the Innes Street side of the underpass and changing to pictures of cultural life, cafes, clubs and pubs nearer the city. The collage of images contains old scanned photographs, and others taken specially for the project by many different groups, individuals and the commissioned photographer.
Programmed as part of FLOW Photofest 2017.
