Stills will present the largest and most comprehensive exhibition to date on the work of the Edinburgh-based photographic artist Robin Gillanders. The exhibition will include newly commissioned work alongside many of Gillanders’ most celebrated portraits taken over the last few decades. It will also feature works from the series The Philosopher’s Garden (2004) and A Lover’s Complaint (2016). This exhibition is timed to coincide with Stills’ 40th Anniversary year in acknowledgement of the vital contribution that Gillanders has made to the teaching and practice of photography in Scotland over the last few decades.
