‘Thomas Annan: Photographer of Glasgow’ (Amanda Maddox and Sara Stevenson – Getty Publications) is a new publication on this preeminent photographer of Glasgow in the mid-nineteenth century, regarded as the precursor of the documentary tradition in photography.
Sara Stevenson will give a lecture at the Mitchell Library on 31st October followed by a Q&A and book launch at Street Level Photoworks on 4th November.
